The Daniel and Mary McSweeney Engineering building was partially funded by donations from this Foundation to promote Pre-Engineering studies at Cathedral Catholic High School.
Continuing in this vein, The McSweeney Family Charitable Foundation is proud to award TMFCF Engineering Scholarships to up to four CCHS students each year.
Rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores who are currently enrolled in and are successfully progressing in the Pre-Engineering Program are eligible to apply for a $5,000 scholarship towards school tuition for the coming academic year.
Students must have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above and demonstrate excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities and academics.
In order to apply for a scholarship, interested, eligible students must click here to complete the application.
Members of TMFCF may interview applicants and the TMFCF Board of Directors will choose the recipient(s). The scholarship award is not renewable, and awardees are not eligible to apply in subsequent academic years.
There are four scholarships available, each for $5,000.
No, the earliest you can apply is during your freshman year for the following year as a rising sophomore.
